The Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences at NDU- Shouf Campus (NDU-SC) took part in the fund raising event “LEND A HAND” - a food stand bake sale organized by the Nutrition in the Life Cycle (NTR 435) students and the Health Club, under the supervision of Dr. Lara Youssef and Ms. Rita Helou.
Over the period of three days, from December 12 to 15, 2016, the students prepared, displayed and sold food items on campus to collect donation funds.
The students, then delivered, on behalf of the University, on Friday, December 23, 2016 the donations to Beit Al Yatim orphanage in Abey. The event was a complete success – a fine labor of love from NDU to the community – a manifestation of the true Christmas spirit, done with the support and generosity of many organizations.
